‘‘World Heritages in Croatia’’ Photography Exhibition

“World Heritages in Croatia” Photography Exhibition which will be realized in cooperation with the Consulate General of Croatia and Beyoğlu Municipality, involves selected photographs from seven different region of Croatia which is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage in Croatia. The exhibition will meet with art lovers in Beyoglu Municipal Art Gallery and can be visited from January 1st through the 25th, 2014.
Although Croatia is seen as a small country, it is big and rich in terms of cultural heritage and natural beauty. The photos of the exhibition is mostly consisted of the ancient cities which is located in the coast of Adriatic Sea and you will have the opportunity to see the city of Split which is emerged from the Castle of Roman Emperor Diocletian, the old city of Dubrovnik and Trogir, Euphrasius Basilica in Porec from Byzantine, Sveti Jakov Cathedral in Šibenik. The ancient agricultural area Stari Grad Plain, interconnect turquoise-colored lakes, waterfalls which is located in the Island of Hvar, offer a spectacular visual feast by mountains and will please you during your visit.
As a museum expert said – “This exhibition shows the contribution of Croatia to the world heritages and the effort for the transfer of this heritage to the future generations.”
All art lovers are cordially invited to the opening ceremony of the exhibition which will be inaugurated On Tuesday, 7th of January 2014 at 18.30 by Ambassador of Croatia Drazen Hrastic!
