Beyoğlu Municipal Art Gallery welcomes Ahmet Sarper’s ‘People as Scenery In The Nature’ Myanmar & Luang Prabang Photography Exhibition from January 28th through February the 8 th 2014.
Ahmet Sarper is one of the ‘Traveler’ photographer of Turkey who takes photos that won’t be erased from the memories. The photos that he took in Myanmar & Laos Luang Prabang are the prooves of the lives and people living there.
Ahmet Sarper is a traveler who was born in 1946. He studied university in France and did his master’s degree in John Hopkins University. He worked for different newspapers, for different sectors and has been in many countries and cities of the World. Photography has been his passion since his youth and he always aimed to be a natural habitat photographer and he is now.
For this cause he travelled many countries such as Cuba, Morocco, Thailand, Cambodia and so many more…
You may find the traces of his effort for being natural, in his book Myanmar&Luang Parabang which has been published by İletişim Publications, involves the photos that he took in Myanmar (Burma with its old name). Myanmar is a country which is located in Southeast Asia, at the coat of Andaman Sea and Bengal Golf, between Bangladesh, China, India, Laos and Thailand. The photo albume book which is consisted of 120 photos, incorporates both exotic flavours and visual feast in it. The exhibition which is consisted of the selected photos from the book, will meet with art lovers from January 28th through February the 8 th 2014 at Beyoğlu Municipal Art Gallery.
