Demircan stated one of the most exciting of these requests came from Catania Municipality which led to signing this agreement and he added "We came here to sign a sisterhood agreement. This is not only an agreement between the municipalities, but also comprises universities, cultural institutions, economy, arts, investors and businessmen. We will get the most benefit out of it".
Catania Mayor Enzo Bianco mentioned that he came to Istanbul before for a Sufi exhibition and stated this exhibition idea emerged in Istanbul as well.
Demircan pointed out how important it is to tell about a country in exhibitions and added "Before we came to Catania, we tried to focus on historical structures and structures built by the Italians. We tried to tell about the old architecture of Istanbul and we tried to give the credit for Italian Architecture here, through structures such as Galata Tower. We have enjoyed this study. I want to thank to every contributing person".
