Beyoğlu Municipality in order to present and promote Beyoglu in different context, publish quarterly the review of “Beyoğlu Magazine” with a circulation of 30,000 and distribute it free of charge to the hotels, cafeterias and restaurants in Beyoğlu. The magazine focuses on the artistic and cultural side of Beyoglu with its’ events and general informations on Beyoğlu.

Beyoğlu is the meeting point of groups of people numbering millions with those employed or living there or who come and stroll… With its movies, theaters, exhibition halls, historical and cultural works all with different features and popular recreation sites, it is always a center of attraction.

Beyoğlu Municipality undertook an activity which will contribute to the promotion of Beyoğlu which is the pupil of Istanbul. It introduced the “BEYOĞLU” magazine which comes to attention, thanks to its quality and varied content. The “Beyoğlu” magazine, which is published quarterly in Turkish-English, is distributed free of charge. The magazine, in which significant historical and tourism sites and architectural landmarks of Beyoğlu are written by experts in their fields, photographed especially, also features the known and unknown sides of the district.

The magazine, which has a circulation of 30,000 handed out free of charge to the hotels, cafeterias and restaurants in Beyoğlu, at the same time bears the distinction of being a Beyoğlu guide.

Each issue of the magazine offers a guide section containing the addresses and phone numbers of museums, movies, theaters, galleries, culture centers, libraries, bookstores, recreation centers, hotels, restaurants, consulates, medical institutions and airlines in Beyoğlu.

The “Beyoğlu” magazine, which draws appreciation and receives positive feedback both for its design and also for its content, is an important source which those wishing to experience Beyoğlu with its unknown sides would not want to do without.

The “Beyoğlu” magazine which is popular with local and international tourists, too, cures a significant deficiency in respect of Beyoğlu’s promotion.

The “Beyoğlu” magazine is a living magazine just like the district it gets its name from, asserts to be the mirror of the changing and developing Beyoğlu.
